Sean J. McIlhinney is a Georgia criminal defense and traffic ticket attorney with over 20 years of experience.
Sean graduated cum laude from Georgia State College of Law in 1995. He was the associate editor of the Georgia State University Law Review. While in law school, Sean was a law clerk for the Gwinnett County Juvenile Court.
After graduating from law school, Sean was an attorney at King & Spalding, the premier law firm in the Southeast, where he worked in the products liability division representing Fortune 500 companies. He loved working at King & Spalding but decided to leave the large law firm after three years to pursue his childhood dream of opening his own small law firm.
In 2008, Sean was recognized in Georgia Trend magazine as one of Georgia’s elite attorneys for criminal defense. He was selected for inclusion in the Rising Stars℠ Edition of 2009 as one of Georgia’s outstanding young lawyers for criminal defense and DUI law.
Sean handles all types of criminal cases, including DUI, traffic violations, drug offenses, shoplifting, burglary, aggravated assault, suspended license, and more.
