    Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute was dismissed by the prosecutor based on defense’s Double Jeopardy motion. Client was initially charged with speeding in this case. After being given his speeding ticket, the police officer smelled marijuana and arrested client for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute based on finding a large amount of marijuana in the trunk of the client’s car. Client first plead guilty to the speeding case and was sentenced by the Judge. A few months thereafter, the Defense put forth its Double Jeopardy motion.
